Busch Gardens Tampa

Bergman completed improvements for Busch Gardens Tampa’s Project Apex, a comprehensive renovation of the park’s lion and hyena habitat and supporting guest and animal-care areas. The project included upgrades to the existing lion and hyena holding building, animal bedrooms and keeper areas, along with new shade structures, enhanced guest viewing areas, habitat barriers, rockwork, water features, landscaping, and animal enrichment elements.

The scope also incorporated extensive structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, civil, irrigation, and life-support system improvements throughout the habitat. New and renovated infrastructure was carefully integrated into the existing environment to enhance animal care and functionality while creating an immersive, guest-facing experience consistent with the park’s themed setting.
